STAGING ARCHITECTURE.
A SELECTION OF CASE STUDIES

“Staging Architecture” (StAr) investigates the processes through which architecture is shown and perceived.

A PUBLICATION AS
SPATIAL FRAMEWORK

A research project titled “Staging Architecture” inevitably raises questions about the medium of the book and its connection to architecture and artistic practices. The format of this publication consists of booklets, each wrapped in a poster, then assembled in a box, which opens up a field of relationships, displacements, and tensions. It proposes a set of thresholds, intervals, and possible configurations. A cross between showcase and reassessment, between document and fiction, memory and archive, this publication constructs an editorial architecture that is deliberately unstable and fluid — designed to be unfolded, reconfigured, expanded, and continued. It is a potential space, a project in the making.
